Coaches

Kristen Audet-Fucarile:
Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach for Framingham High School

Kristen Audet-Fucarile enters her 3rd season as head coach for the Framingham Flyers Women’s Program.  She has spent the last two years connecting and working with the youth programs to develop a strong set of goals throughout the program.  At the high school level she believes that these young women need to learn how to be students of the game.  Audet-Fucarile joins Framingham after spending 2015-2016 as the top guard assistant for Mount Ida College.

Previously, Coach Audet has been a volunteer assistant at Brandeis University and spent 6 years coaching varsity girls at Maimonides School in Brookline, MA.   Taking a team that had never competed in the post season to 6 playoff appearances.

Audet-Fucarile was a four-year starting point guard for a successful program at Simmons College.  At Simmons she continued on to receive her Masters in the Arts of Education to become a teacher.  She currently is teaching kindergarten at the Underwood School in Newton, MA.


Lou Petrovic:
Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach for Framingham High School

Present position is as the Assistant Varsity coach at Framingham High School.  The Program’s approach is based on development of a team attitude, careful assessment of the talent levels, honesty and constructive feedback to individuals and to the team, focused fun practices, and a coordinated varsity/junior varsity basketball program.

Coach Petrovic’s contribution is based on 24 years of experience including 7 years as varsity coach at Notre Dame Academy of Tyngsboro and Hudson Catholic.  In addition, he had 15 years of coaching experience as an Assistant Varsity and Junior Varsity coach at Lincoln Sudbury High School (12 years) and Maynard High School (3 years).  He also spent 2 years as a Freshman coach at Lincoln Sudbury High School and Waltham High School.  He is starting his second year as Assistant Varsity coach at Framingham.


Garvey Salomon:
Maimonides School Girls' Varsity Coach

 

 

 

 


Coach Desa Lavrusky

Desa was the assistant coach at City on a Hill Charter School in Roxbury, MA. She was captain of her high school team where she played point guard and shooting guard. Her favorite memories from high school are from attending summer team camps and working with young aspiring players. She believes strongly that creating a team bond off the court will improve success on the court. Desa is a teacher at Framingham High School and believes that academics and athletics must go hand in hand.


Maddy Malieswski:
Former Framingham Varsity member

Maddy just finished her freshmen year at Roger Williams University.  Maddy is a tremendous track and basketball athlete who loves participating and supporting the Framingham community.  Maddy not only brings basketball knowledge but a great understanding of being a student athlete to our campers.  Maddy will be entering her second year as a camp counselor for Metrowest Elite Basketball Camp.


Suzie Cosme:
Former Framingham Player

Suzie just finished her freshmen year at Simmons College.  Suzie is continuing her basketball career with the Sharks and demonstrating growth and leadership in the game.  Suzie is fun to watch and enjoys creating a competitive edge for our young girls at Metrowest Elite.  Suzie will be entering her second year as a camp counselor for Metrowest Elite Basketball Camp.

 


Ryleigh LaChance:
Current Post Player for Framingham Flyers Varsity

Ryleigh is entering her second year as a camp counselor for Metrowest Elite. She will be a senior captain for our Framingham Flyers next season. She ended our last season with a 187 points and 180 rebounds. Ryleigh is a tough post player that brings a lot of experience to these young campers.

 


Hannah Gelman:
Current Post Player for Framingham Flyers Varsity

Hannah is a hard working and dedicated member of the Framingham Flyers basketball team.  Hannah was a captain for both the basketball and softball team this season.  Her passion and desire to create a positive experience for her and her teammates is evident each day.  Hannah was a post player this past season for the Flyers and will continue her education next year at WPI.  Hannah will be a second year counselor for our camp.


Julia Gelman:
Current Post/Guard for Framingham Flyers Varsity

Brings a lot of excitement and knowledge to our camp.  Julia was a captain for both the basketball and softball team this season.  She has the drive and ability to create a positive atmosphere around these young campers.  Julia is someone that knows how to put the 110% into being a great player and will graduate this year and continue on at Northeastern University.  Julia will be a second year counselor for our camp.


Destiny Fausta:
Current Guard for Framingham Varsity


Destiny is entering her senior year at Metrowest Elite.  She will take on the role as senior captain in our 2018-19 season.  Destiny plays point guard and off guard for the Flyers and believes in hard work.  She loves the game and has great patients and knowledge to share with our campers.

Chloe Pearce:
Current Post Player for Framingham Varsity

Chloe is entering her junior year at Framingham High School.  Chloe has a competitive and hardworking demeanor about herself that allows her to grow and thrive each season. She is a tough post player in the Bay State league and loves spreading her joy for the game throughout camp.  Chloe is returning as a second year counselor for Metrowest Elite this summer.

 


Bella Galvani:
Current Player for Framingham Varsity

Bella is entering her senior year at Framingham High School.  She will take on the role as captain.  Bella is excited to join us this summer and brings a lot of leadership and organizational skills to our camp.  Bella loves working with the youth and has demonstrated that in her volunteer work throughout the season.
